Center of the Milky Way
This image is a real image of the center of the Milky Way. Normally, the center of the Milky Way is filled with many objects hidden from view due to the abundance of stars and nebulae. However, in this image, almost all of these objects are visible except one: the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. In fact, it's right in the middle of the image right now.
Infrared images are often used to detect objects hidden behind nebulae. This image is the best infrared image the Hubble Telescope has yet of the center of the Milky Way.
