A Message from Astronaut Robot Kirobo

Kirobo became the first robot to speak in space on August 21, 2013. Equipped with voice recognition software from Toyota, the astronaut robot sent a hello message and pictures to Earth.

Kirobo arrived at the ISS (International Space Station) in early August. Next year, Kirobo will participate in the first human-robot communication in space.
