Content Management System – Old!

This is my first CMS project, and it lacks many features. I didn't use a framework and used the old mysql_ functions. So, I designed a new CMS. You can see my new project above. It's a general system that allows the site owner to manage content on a site, including adding, editing, and deleting content, as well as adding and deleting images. Features and requests are customizable. While there are normally ready-made systems available, I prefer to write my own […]

Product Management

A system where individuals or companies can add, edit, and delete their own groups, categories, and products. This project includes groups, categories under those groups, and products as examples. While it's a simple system, it's my first project.

The Clearest Photo of Pluto Released

The New Horizons spacecraft has been traveling in space for nine years. It has traveled 4.82 billion kilometers. It has now fully illuminated Pluto, a long-held mystery. New Horizons, which will approach Pluto within 12,000 kilometers today, sent this image this morning. It was taken from a distance of 766,000 kilometers from Pluto.

Two Hours Before Neptune

The Voyager 2 spacecraft took this photograph in 1989, two hours before reaching its destination, while en route to Neptune. Long white clouds are clearly visible in Neptune's atmosphere. Neptune's atmosphere is largely composed of helium and hydrogen. These are not visible, so the blue atmosphere we see in the photograph is not due to the small amount of methane in the atmosphere, which absorbs red. The blue color is caused by the same […]

Magnificent Photo of Comet Lovejoy

The world's most powerful camera has captured a spectacular photo, or rather, photographs, of Comet Lovejoy. These shots were actually accidental. On December 27, 2014, Comet Lovejoy was 82 million kilometers away. At the time, the 570MP Dark Energy Camera was observing a specific area over a five-year period to gather information about dark energy. […]

Venus and Mars in Moonlight

Perhaps the title could have been the gods of love and war in the moonlight... Venus, the goddess of love, and Mars, the god of war, are captured in the same frame with the Moon in this photo. This photo was taken by Kevin Bourque in South Carolina, USA, on February 20, 2015. During the 3-second exposure, the light reflected from the Earth also illuminated the dark side of the Moon.
