Dimensions of the Visible Universe and the Planck Distance
Hello everyone after a nice weekend.
As you can tell from the title, I should say this will be an article about the dimensions of the visible universe, but no, it won't. I've written a detailed article about it. You can find it here (The Universe Is Big, But How Big? The Observable and Unobservable Universe) you can go to this article.
My goal here is to visualize the scales of the universe, at least in a small way, using a flash file I've uploaded to the site. In the flash file below, you can see a comparison of all scales, from the Planck distance (the smallest distance) to atoms, organisms, satellites, planets, stars, galaxies, superclusters, and the visible universe. Enjoy!
