Saturn's Rings in Infrared

Saturn and its rings taken in infrared by the Cassini spacecraft.

Saturn is the sixth planet in the solar system and the second largest in size. It is considered a gas giant because it lacks a solid surface. Despite its size, its mass and density are low. In fact, its density is so low that if we were to place Saturn in water, it would float. It is composed mostly of hydrogen and helium.
